This is an 8-session weekly Zoom package which will continue through the year. Classes are 55 minutes. Students should also have access to either the Biochem 2.0 or the Biochem Classic 24 pre-recorded lessons before beginning these Zooms. This will provide some baseline knowledge. I will cycle through all the topics of high school chemistry, and students should be able to register anytime.

Welcome, chemists! This is the registration for high school chemistry. This Zoom course will allow Biochemistry Literacy students to complete a full high school chemistry curriculum. Students can join anytime, but I suggest that students come with a baseline knowledge by completing Biochem 2.0 Unit 1 and/or most of the Classic lessons. High School Chemistry picks up where the pre-recorded videos leave off and cover all the quantitative topics such as: gas laws, mole calculations, pH, kinetics, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics.

Classes meet once a week for 55 minutes. Each week, I will cover similar content in both classes. Once you register, I will contact you for more information, and you can choose one of the class times. If you have a scheduling conflict once is a while, you are welcome to attend an alternate section, but please try to stick to one of the sections. The classes will also be recorded. The same Zoom link is used for all the Zoom classes, and you will be reminded to re-register every 8 sessions. This is a more hands-on experience as I will assign homework and assessments for the students.
