Summer camp

In July 2023, students from 17 states, Australia, and Canada convened at The Pingry School in central New Jersey for the first ever Biochemistry and Physics Literacy Summer Institute! It was an amazing and surreal experience to see so many of my Zoom students in person and to work with them in the lab. Sessions were led by Dr. Azadeh Samadani (physics), Professor Michael Castaldi (organic chemistry), and Dr. Daniel Fried (biochemistry). Parent sessions were led by Dr. Hui Jiang. The week culminated in a trip to Princeton University where students presented research posters to chemistry graduate students there.
