Summer Camp!

In July 2023, students from 17 states, Australia, and Canada gathered at The Pingry School in central New Jersey for the first Biochemistry and Physics Literacy Summer Institute. Seeing so many Zoom students in person and working together in the lab was both exciting and surreal. Sessions were led by Dr. Azadeh Samadani in physics, Professor Michael Castaldi in organic chemistry, and Dr. Daniel Fried in biochemistry. Parent sessions were led by Dr. Hui Jiang. The week concluded with a visit to Princeton University, where students presented research posters to chemistry graduate students, sharing their work in a true academic setting.
