Introductory Biochemistry M/T/F

$160.00

This is an 8-session weekly Zoom package which will continue through the year. Classes are 55 minutes. Students must also have access to the Biochem 2.0 pre-recorded lessons before beginning these Zooms. Classes are meant to expand and reinforce the content, so they work best when students also do work on their own. The content of the Zooms will rotate, so you can join anytime!

Description

Welcome, biochemists! This is the registration for the introductory biochemistry Zoom sections. In these sections, we will reinforce content from Biochem 2.0 Unit 1, and early lessons from the classic program. These Zooms will enrich and reinforce foundational content, and students can join anytime. Content will be focused on building modeling skills, understanding patterns in chemical structures, predicting structure/function connections of molecules, and understanding bonding in and between molecules. These will be very fun, and are a great way to get more experience and go beyond the video lessons. Students can ask questions, and I’m very responsive to questions during the lessons.

Classes meet once a week for 55 minutes. Each week, I will cover similar content in all 3 classes. Once you register, I will contact you for more information, and you can choose one of the class times. If you have a scheduling conflict once is a while, you are welcome to attend an alternate section, but please try to stick to one of the sections. The classes will also be recorded. The same Zoom link is used for all the Zoom classes, and you will be reminded to re-register every 8 sessions.

Class options: Mondays 12:00 pm Eastern | Tuesdays 2:00 pm Eastern | Fridays 7:30 pm Eastern
